About this Course

"I think it is one of the tragedies of our nation, one of the shameful tragedies, that 11 o'clock on Sunday morning is one of the most segregated hours, if not the most segregated hour, in Christian America." - Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (NBC's Meet the Press, April 17th, 1960)

Nearly 60 years after MLK brought light to this tragedy of Sunday morning in America, every church should be striving to build a more healthy, multi-ethnic community. Why? Because a multi-ethnic community on earth reflects the eternal community of those who will worship God forever (Revelation 7:9-10).

Churches big and small can be healthy, thriving communities of God when congregants learn to love their neighbors as themselves. All of their neighbors.

Join Dr. Mark DeYmaz as he unpacks the common and often ingrained misconceptions that impede the good work of many churches that want to be healthy and diverse. He digs into the true reasons people are most segregated on Sunday mornings. He also dives deep into the simple strategies that can reverse bad habits to help ministries develop healthy, thriving, and economically sustainable church teams.
